Panda Express 1808 Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Review: It's difficult not to notice the clean parking lot and how clean it is when you walk into Panda Express. I was immediately greeted when I walked up to place my order. Time was Always a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. My personal favorite is the Sweet Fire Chicken. I think the price is right too. They have all the supplies you may need for taking care of your fresh and salt water fish and keeping your reptiles well taken care of. Sugar Shack 805 W Willson St, Niota, TN 37826. Review: My first time going to Sugar Shack. Warmly greeted as we walked up to the line. Great home cooked style platters. Great tasting food and portions. Pleasant dining experience and friendly atmosphere. I think they offer a great value. I will definitely have Sugar Shack on my mind when passing through Niota. The Lost Sea Adventure 140 Lost Sea Rd, Sweetwater, TN 37874. Review: Cool walking so deep under the ground. Surprising the geology knowledge and things to learn. Great photo opportunities especially boat ride on the lost sea. There is an overnight tour available as well. Take some extra money to enjoy the ice cream parlor, gem mine and the fantastic glass blown sculptures. Highly recommend for a little weekend getaway in east Tennessee. Rhea County Courthouse Historic Landmark. 1475 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321. Review: A great historic landmark. Books and movies are still produced about the Scopes Trial back in 1925. History buffs paradise. The museum exhibits and staff helped bring the Scopes Trial back to life. A great place for school field trips. I would enjoy going again with friends who enjoy history. Cracker Barrel 110 Burkett L Witt Blvd, Athens, TN 37303. Review: This morning I chose pot roast with green beans and cornbread. Wife chose strawberry cheesecake pancakes and eggs with bacon. Forbidden City Restaurant 2273 Gunbarrel Road Suite 103 Chattanooga, TN 37421. Review: All-you-can-eat Pan Asian buffet offered in spacious dining areas with decor adding to a warm and relaxing atmosphere. When I'm in Chattanooga and wanting Chinese food, this is the place to go to. Every time I order something different. Always glad I did as I sometimes discover new foods which becomes favorites. All the staff are attentive and the service is all the better for it. Be aware of the fact per company policy, a customary 15% service charge is added to all parties of six or more, no matter how tickets are split. Ankar's Hoagies 5966 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Review: Been going to Ankar's for about 12 years. Always great food, great service and priced right. Back down in the Chattanooga area today on little business trip and always great to stop by Ankar's to relax and enjoy a good tasting lunch meal. Iron Works Grille 1641 Cherohala Skyway, Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Review: Checking out the beautiful waterfalls in the area around Iron Works Grille. Great food, atmosphere and the waitress was absolutely awesome. They also host live music entertainment and will be going back to enjoy that again as well. Outside dining also available with beautiful river view. Love Iron Works Grille baked Trout with two side. This time I chose mashed potatoes and fried okra. Photo assistant with me ordered a Salmon Salad. She said it was very flavorful. For those of us who are bike riders, Iron Works Grille has thoughtfully provided a lot of well placed motorcycle parking. If you've never been to Iron Works Grille, check it out. Bradley's Sweet Side 513 New Hwy 68, Sweetwater, TN 37874. Review: My first time at Bradley's Sweet Side. Very pleasantly surprised by the great flavors and options. I ordered a banana split and received more quantity than I expected. This seems to be true of everything. Other ice cream shops I've been to throughout eastern Tennessee has not matched the value I received while at Bradley's Sweet Side. There is also a nice covered outdoor dining area with a couple of swings for little ones and three picnic tables in uncovered outdoor area for really taking in beautiful days to relax and enjoy some great ice cream desserts. Western Sizzling 804 Decatur Pike, Athens, TN 37303. Review: My favorite place in Athens for steak dinners. As soon as my girlfriend and I arrived, we got seated. Great atmosphere. Didn't have long wait. We enjoyed our sizzling steak and potatoe dinners and took our time in great atmosphere. Definitely going back soon. Friend and I enjoyed their grilled cheese sandwiches. On a pretty day enjoy a game of corn hole in the front lawn. Sweetwater Valley Farm just 3 miles off Interstate 75. I recommend this location. An area with cushion seating available. Outdoor covered option with tables and chairs. This coffee shop is truly a hidden gem in Etowah. If you tired of waiting in a vehicle line for coffee and would like a place to relax and enjoy a soothing cup of coffee in peace and tranquility with free wi-fi, this is your place to be. Love the live entertainment and atmosphere. The food excellent. Yes, a great experience and delicious food. I'm definitely planning to be a regular. Today my girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch around 1:30pm. I had a Philly Steak sandwich with french fries and a Coke. My girlfriend had a bowl of salad and BBQ Potato & Grilled Chicken with bacon with sweet tea. Enjoyed a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Priced right. I usually spend around $22 per person. I have to recommend their sweetpotatoe fries. Best I've eaten anywhere. Large plaza parking lot. Very busy during dinner time. But worth it. I highly recommend Michael's in Etowah. Popular Thai restaurant in Athens. I plan to go back in the next week at for a dinner time review. My entree was brought to table first. Yamato Japanese Steak House. 1504 Decatur Pike, Athens, TN 37303. Review: Friendly and intimate atmosphere. Greeted warmly by server and seated within 2 minutes of walking in. Healthy portion servings. Our server checked on us several times always with a very pleasant and friendly demeanor. The price for the two of us was $31. Enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. With the cost of ingredients being so high at this time, I was surprised the price of my order was very competitive. A great one stop shop for most everything you would want for preparing delicious and healthy meals and snacks. Today I picked up Salmon and shrimp, spinach and lemons for a filling and healthy dinner which made a very delicious meal with some red wine. I always have a great shopping experience as I always find what I'm looking for and also find new things to try. I highly recommend Food City for all your grocery shopping needs. Walmart Supercenter. 1815 Decatur Pike, Athens, TN 37303. Review: I was needing some extra microcards for my cameras. I visited the Walmart website which indicated the microcards with the features I wanted were not available at my local Walmart in Athens, Tennessee. Well, I had a client shoot to go do and I would be passing by Walmart anyway, so I stepped in to verify the microcards situatiin. I thought I had correctly remembered a good selection. And now with Christmas approaching i had to check. Yes! Even better selection and cards which also met my specifications for shooting 8K video and more. So I quickly purchased a half dozen 512 gb cards. I just happened to check the website before the update. Walmart carries a lot of great products at low prices. Sunsphere & World's Fair Park. 525 Henley St, Knoxville, TN 37902. Review: Enjoyed a wonderful time with lady friend. There's a huge lawn area, artistic bridge murals, restrooms nearby and clean, playground area. The Square is easily within walking distance. I recommend going during the summer to enjoy everything the most. I was here today for business purposes and pleasure. I had to shoot some photography and video. The sky was mostly grey. But my photo assistant and I enjoyed the time there and spent a few hours just enjoying the sights and sounds. We loved the walk and plan to go back again this summer just for fun. Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. 5615 Clinton Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37912. Review: I stopped at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for a late lunch. Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service was impeccable. I chose the Bourbon-Glazed Salmon & Shrimp and lady friend with me chose the same. I knew it was time to write a review since this is the restaurant I always to go for lunch when I'm in Knoxville. There is a wonderful outdoor area for dining as well but it was just a little too cold this time. I have to highly recommend. Just can't see how anyone would be disappointed. The addition of the Splash Pad water park makes for great family fun as well as creating new memories to be shared in family photos. Athens is known as The Friendly City and easy to see why. Tellico Beach Drive In. 1801 Cherohala Skyway, Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Review: A friend recommended I go for a hamburger and their sweet tea. I wasn't disappointed. Veterans Memorial Park. 202 Sunset Dr, Athens, TN 37303. Review: Love the Veterans Memorial Park in Athens, Tennessee. My dad and uncle both retired from the United States Air Force. Both worked for the McMinn County Sheriffs Department upon retirement. Both had been Security Police. I appreciate all the brave men and women who have served in the United States military.
